There are lots of things to consider when selecting mom's dream home but we have a few design elements that she is sure to love. This year is the year of dichotomy; there's plenty of timeless design being explored but there are also new, bold touches with metallic accents and exotic prints. For example, woods have gotten lighter with mahogany and oak being favored over darker woods and soft black and white tones are joining the party in enduring designs.
